Identity
is like saying brand
"I
like to tell people that the name 'digitalfishing' is my online
identity.With that identity I'm able to show internet users my
past work.
My
most concentrated appreciation of the meaning of brand came about
whilst working at Siegel Gale. I was a Senior Interactive programmer
and they were then the largest branding agency in the World.
Personally
I'm really a 'digitalboy' with a great love of gadgets (which
i tend to blog about)
and tools that make life easier and quicker to manage. I originally
bought the digitalfishing domain for a team of new media professionals
to work under as a kind of corporate umbrella.
Now
digitalfishing is no longer a limited company so it gives me more
freedom to test out new technology solutions for companies before
putting them live.
The
combination of words in digitalfishing was chosen as a incentive
and a challenge to myself to work on bigger digital based projects.
I owned over 200 web domains, worked on around 1000 sites, spent
millions in development. Digitalfishing is a resting place for
me online, like an island in a virtual ocean that i can always
swim to.
