Important: This is a website terms draft, not a replacement for a signed professional-services agreement. The legal provider identity must be confirmed for live use and client contracts.

1. Scope and status

DigitalFishing is the online identity of Peter Woodford, not a separate incorporated company. These website terms govern use of the website and free tools. Paid consulting services are supplied only under a separate written proposal or agreement identifying the actual contracting provider, scope, fees and other commercial terms.

2. Information only

Website information, sample methods, calculators and generated files are provided for general educational and planning purposes. Nothing here is a binding quotation, business, technical, financial or legal recommendation. You must independently verify outputs before relying on them.

3. Enquiries and engagements

Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship. Engagement begins only when the relevant parties expressly accept a written agreement. Project milestones, responsibilities, payment, cancellation, intellectual property and deliverables are governed by that agreement.

4. Free tools

The tools run locally in your browser and are offered as-is without availability, completeness or accuracy guarantees. Do not upload confidential information to another service without assessing that service’s policies. Do not use tools to harm systems, infringe rights or perform unlawful activity.

5. Intellectual property

Original site content and tools are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Brand marks, book titles, testimonials and client references belong to their respective owners. Historical client work is described for factual portfolio context, not to imply an endorsement or new client relationship.

6. External sites

Links to third parties are provided for convenience. The service provider does not control their products, availability, privacy terms or content.

7. Disclaimer and liability

We use reasonable care when preparing website information, but do not warrant that the site is error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for use of this free website and free tools is excluded. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Privacy and analytics

Use of information is described in the Privacy Policy. The website uses Google Analytics and other essential website functions as described there. Legal obligations concerning consent, objections and privacy still apply.

9. Changes and availability

The site, tools and these terms may be updated. Changes to published website terms apply from posting, but do not unilaterally change existing agreed client contracts.

10. Governing law

Subject to mandatory rights that may apply to consumers or other users, these website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and disputes fall within the jurisdiction of its courts.

11. Contact

For legal notices, privacy enquiries or consulting matters, use the email button on the Contact page. The legal identity and contact particulars of the contracting service provider will be stated in any accepted services agreement.
